They're saying the Vallejo fire is now under control for the most part. Apparently, that area is known for catching fire, so they already had strategies in place for fighting it.

Yeah, I could see that happening, except for the cacs in the vistas thing
. I was there back in '00 and even then they were trying to push that downtown area as a future art hub for the city. I was in the neighborhood couple months ago and happy to see that G's Cuts was still around. I assume Sonoma is still the stroll though, no? They shut the power off over there now too? I've been in blackouts that lasted a couple hours and that was bad enough, I can't imagine not having it for several days.
