My bad, realized OP is looking for kid friendly/ safe joints, but the kid might get a kick out the entertainment...homeless guy came running in while we were there cussing everyone out for eating "all fancy" while he has to stand outside looking thru the window. 10 minutes later as we were leaving, Ol dude is face down on that dirty ass street handcuffed with SF's finest drinking coffee standing over him...
Hell, it aint THAT bad....there's a fukkin Bentley dealership like 2-3 blocks away...

We have this weird hybrid of nerdy socially awkward geeks that all have money to "dress and act cool" for once in their lives. Only they make the world around them lame and don't bring the goofy quirkiness of a typical dumb cac hipster.

It's bad breh. But don't let that get you down.

I'd even check out Golden Gate Bridge of it's nice and the palace of fine arts.

The African Diaspora museum is located on Mission street downtown.

Yerba Buena Gardens is next door as well.
