not only is the real estate BIGGER in hercules, it's newer. almost every house in hayward is old as hell and small, less sq footage, smaller rooms, smaller lot. and there are more buyers in hayward, meaning people aren't paying 300k for these houses they're usually offering more and paying cash.
houses at any price range will be bigger and thus more affordable in hercules.
