Alabama and Florida State continued paving a path towards a meeting in the BCS Championship Game on Saturday, though the No. 1 and No. 2 teams in the polls did so in different fashion. The Tide overcame a slow start against an inspired Mississippi State team, riding a strong defensive performance to a 20-7 victory. Florida State took care of business at home against Syracuse, dispatching its second division opponent by a 59-3 score.
But the story of the day occurred down in Jordan-Hare Stadium, where Auburn wide receiver Ricardo Young delivered on a play that will go down in history -- if you haven't seen it yet or want to relive the Jordan-Hare prayer, we've got GIF's and videos here. The Tigers moved up to No. 6 after the win, setting up an Iron Bowl with SEC and BCS title implications.
USC broke into the Top 25 after its 20-17 upset of Stanford, improving the Trojans record to 5-1 under interim coach Ed Orgeron. The Cardinal fell from No. 5 in the AP poll to no No. 10, but more importantly lost control of the Pac-12 North. Oregon now sits in the driver's seat for a spot in the Pac-12 title game, and moved up to that No. 5 spot after a 44-21 win against Utah.
Baylor also jumped Ohio State into the No. 3 position following a convincing win against Texas Tech in Arlington, and Duke is now ranked in the Top 25 for the first time since the 1994 season.

FSU is deserving of their ranking but outside of Clemson who have they beat
An overrated miami team thats not even ranked
If that game wasnt hyped up as a battle of top ten teams, theyre schedule would be looked at the same way as ours
And if you put wisconsin in the ACC,they would be a top 3 team in that conference along with FSU and Clemson. So would MSU.
If a shyt conference has more ranked teams than the ACC,what does that tell you. And im our last two bowl games,we beat Oregon and arkansas. How is that wetting the bed
