At the end of the day, it's all a beauty contest. I found some facts about OSU, FL St and Baylor. Take it for what it worth.

Fact #1: Florida State, Ohio State & Baylor, each have wins over only 1 currently ranked team
Fact #2: There are 3 Big 12 ranked teams, 3 Big 10 ranked teams, 3 ACC ranked teams
Fact #3: according to Sagarin's strength of schedule rankings: FSU (58), Ohio St (72), Baylor (85)

The Big 10, ACC and Big 12 are all the same at the end of the day. FL St and Baylor are just looking better, that doesn't mean that they are better.

Reb... I know you're nearly AARP eligible, so your memory is slightly hazy and I would attribute that to Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy if you weren't third string water boy at Oklahoma, but Oklahoma is 3-5 in BCS games and OSU is 6-3. Oklahoma took the more embarrassing L in the championship. The Big Ten also has a better win % in BCS games.

So next time you talk about someone shytting the bed, check your Depends you old senile c*nt.

Oklahoma hasn't beaten anyone with a pulse, as you just stated. Mich st lost to one of the teams Oklahoma worked over. So do tell me again how good mich state is
If you actually watch the games, which it appears you haven't, you can see they are a good team. But again, I can play the same game by saying that Oklahoma got blown out by Texas, and Texas got blown out by BYU, and Wisconsin handled BYU. So why is Oklahoma far and away better than Wisconsin? You have yet to answer any question I post and just go with the "bu bu but who really cares about middling teams" talk. Stop moving the goal post. You cannot back up your large assertion that Baylor "easily" has played, or will play a far better schedule, and that Oklahoma is "far and away, it's not even close" better than who OSU has played or will play.

back what up? that oklahoma would be favored vs either mich st or wisky? that okie st would be favored against either mich st or wisky? that baylor and fsu and a host of other teams would be favored over osu? because those are the facts. baylor, at years end, will have played the more difficult schedule. and again, its not close. the big ten fukking blows this season. but ill let you tell it and those close wins over western mich, south florida, iowa, purdue etc are the makings of some great team. mich st is middle of the road. "but they are ranked high" who gives a fukk. va tech was ranked damn near top ten earlier in the year. so what? michigan state aint shyt

Put down the keyboard and go smoke or drink something. Your statement is not making any sense what so ever. Baylor, OSU and Florida State have all beaten a team that is still in the top 25. All three will still have a chance to beat another team in the top 25 before the end of the season. Beside that, the schedule for all three was not great this year. Baylor and Florida State may have won with more "style" points but that doesn't mean that they are better the OSU when at the end of the day, they are playing the same level of competition. The Big 10 is down, but the ACC and the Big 12 is not better at all. It just that the media (mostly ESPN) hates OSU and the Big 10 and dikk ride the ACC and SEC.

You need to know when to stop arguing with someone who just won't listen. I'm sitting here as a U of M alum and I can't even co-sign this dude. The reason OSU won't make the title game is because Michigan did not become who we thought they would. They are the third youngest team in CFB or something, but still. Michigan vs. OSU was supposed to be the BIG 10 championship game with all eyes on the conference that would send one to the Rose Bowl and one to the National Championship game. Michigan falling off is why you won't play in that game unless these teams lose.

Bar None is that you?

But yeah I see what you're saying. If y'all have only one, maybe two losses going into the game this wouldn't be that much of a discussion. I just think that the Big Ten's perception is far worse than reality. I also think that our schedule would look far different if we played in the other division. Nebraska, MSU, and Minnesota are better for the schedule than Illinois, Indiana, and Purdue.

fukk it. Next year's system can't come soon enough.

1. Alabama [.991]: It's only fitting, isn't it, that the team that stands as the biggest hurdle between the Tide and another BCS championship berth happens to be the only team that's won a BCS title other than Alabama since 2008?

2. Florida State [.966]: In Jeff Sagarin's "Predictor" rankings -- not the model used by the BCS, but the one that includes margin-of-victory and which Sagarin would claim are his "real" rankings " -- the Seminoles are now a clearcut No. 1, as far ahead of No. 2 Oregon as the Ducks are over No. 5, uh, Arizona State.

3. Ohio State [.887]: Surely, surely, the least-celebrated 22-game winning streak for a major BCS-level program in college football history.

4. Baylor [.886]: If someone invents a time machine, we're totally going back to, say, 1999 and telling college football fans that the biggest BCS debate of 2013 is which team is more deserving: undefeated Ohio State, or undefeated Baylor.

Btu breh, look at the way FSU is demolishing teams. The score is like 35-0 at the end of the 1st quarter. That's cupcake score, but they're doing it against real D1 teams with legit athletes.

Meanwhile OSU is playing in tight games against basement dwellers like Iowa and allowing Illinois to put up 35-40 points on them.

I mean y'all havent lost in almost 2 years so I give props for that, but at the same time, I dont see y'all having a legit case for being in the title game now or even if 1 team loses.

Texas might even be ranked again by the end of the year so that will give Baylor 2 shots at ranked opponents to close the season out.

But personally, I'm of the opinion, that if it happens, they should let the 3, 4 undefeated teams play each other and just have co-national champs to close out this stupid BCS era. All 4 teams are from legit conferences so they just need to go-ahead and do what's right.

This is why OSU is not ranked higher, they have not looked great or dominant against anybody relevant.. FSU would kill them, and like it was said before nobody wants to see osu vs an sec team again
