While it will sting if we get left out,it wont be a lost season. Recruits are gonna love two undefeated seasons in a row. And with the playoff system,we're almost guaranteed a spot in the playoffs. With almost everyone coming back I think we'll be a better team next year:whoo: Plus they will be playing with a chip on their shoulder next year too. We just gotta deal with the coli kicking us while we're down and rubbing it in our faces for a whole year:pachaha: But the payoff will be worth it:smugbiden:

if there was a playoffs this year yall might of got left out, especially if stanford and baylor won out, i was reading.

it depends, right now okie light is 3 spots ahead of MSU in the BCS, so that would be a better "win" especially since they would be on the road ,while OSU would be in a neutral site. Plus if they beat texas they would get a bigger gain than yall beating michigan.

They play TCU, and yall play Indiana and the boost would be the same there.
Yeah its gonna be close. It also depends on what others do such as wisconsin continuing to climb, how oklahoma does and other factors like poll standings. There's a ton of football still to be played. The team should just focus on who they play and let everything else be figured out cause that MSU game is no gimmie.

Nebraska and Michigan are 7-3 ain't nobody taking them chumps serious those teams stink and got by off playing scrubs. Only big ten schools that actually played anyone decent OOC this year was Wisconsin,Purdue and Illinois. These nikkas don't even travel to play anyone OOC. Ohio St has a road win at 1 win Cal,Michigan has a road win at winless UConn Nebraska played it's first 5 games at home fukk outta here with that win percentage bullshyt. Minnesota is fukking 8-2 ain't no one taking them serious if they matched up with a fukking Clemson or Baylor on a neutral site.

UCLA demolished Nebraska in Lincoln and if not for one fluke hail mary Nebraska would probably be looking at a 5-5 record at this point. Nebraska best wins came at Michigan :rudy: Wyoming :aicmon: and fukking Illinois at home.

Minnesota OOC wins are over UNLV,San Jose State,New Mexico St and Western Illinois. They got crushed by Iowa and Michigan and best conference win is over a mediocre Nebraska at home Minnesota will end up 8-5.

Penn State hasn't been within 2 TD's all season in the 3 road games they've played. Their best win came in a struggle 4OT game vs a weak Michigan. Oh they beat Syracuse by 6 a team FSU treated as a fukking scrimmage Saturday.

Michigan fans themselves will tell you that they are 7-3 based off of a weak schedule they had to sweat it out vs horrible Akron and UConn teams.

Illinois,Purdue,Northwestern,Indiana :camby:

You know I can do this with the entire ACC outside of Clemson right?

NOLES SAID go ahead and post them facts breh
Florida St played Nevada, Bethune Cookman, Idaho, and Florida (doesn't really count as far as scheduling tough teams since they are default on the schedule, but they suck anyway this year)

Duke played NC Central, Memphis, Troy, and Navy

G Tech played Elon, BYU, and Alabama A&M (Georgia is default)

I'll throw in Virginia Tech as scheduling a good one because they played Alabama, forgot about that one. But OSU plays V Tech the next two seasons as well.

Point is, the only big non-conference game this year was Clemson and Georgia. There was no other big OOC game. So nobody should be up boasting and bragging like their conference is better because they've beaten all of these power teams. The ACC is right on par with the Big Ten (as is the Big 12). Neither one can really claim superiority this year.

So you're naming teams that some Big Ten teams have played and beat (Notre Dame and BYU) and a team that was scheduled to play a Big Ten team but backed out at the last moment (Vandy).

Clemson doesn't get extra credit for playing South Carolina every season, just as FSU doesn't get extra credit for Florida and G Tech playing Georgia. When South Carolina was in their down years, was this a great OOC team that Clemson and the ACC boasted about?

I'm not arguing that the ACC is some juggernaut i'm just saying you gotta give some of the ACC schools some slack if you gonna bring up win percentages. Most of the schools took on 2 tough OOC games instead of the usual 1 most schools take up these days. I'm sure if Minnesota flipped a Western Illinois and replaced it with a USC that 8-2 would be 7-3.

Win percentages are flawed I remember one year the old Big East was #2 in win percentage because all the schools played shyt for OOC schedules and beat up on the curtain jerker programs.

Clemson and Georgia Tech don't have to schedule those games though. They already play tough OOC rivals at the end of the year. What's the Big 10 schools excuses for scheduling 3 tomato cans and 1 quality OOC most years? Florida St used to play Miami,Florida,Notre Dame and Colorado the same damn year OOC while playing top 25 schools like Clemson,Georgia Tech and Virginia.

Week 5 of BCS standings released: Ohio State clings to third

If Alabama and Florida State head to the postseason as undefeated SEC and ACC champions, respectively, the grappling between Ohio State, Baylor and Stanford -- whoops, just Ohio State and Baylor -- for the No. 3 spot in the BCS standings is an entirely moot point.

But until the Tide and Seminoles actually do finish off their perfect regular seasons-plus-one, the Buckeyes and Bears will be watching the standings closely. And Sunday, the fifth edition of the 2013 standings broke in favor of Ohio State ... barely. While the Coaches Poll and the Harris Poll opted for the Buckeyes, the computer composite ranked the Bears third and the Buckeyes fifth, a spot behind Auburn.

That was enough to shave the margin between the teams to .0013, Ohio State's .8869 to Baylor's .8856

Oregon took the No. 5 spot over No. 6 Auburn, though the margin is close enough -- particularly with the Tigers already owning a clearcut advantage in the computers -- that Gus Malzahn's team would likely leapfrog the Ducks if they knock off the Crimson Tide at home Nov. 30.

Further down the standings, though the margin between the two teams remains a decent-sized .041, Northern Illinois's win over Ball State pulled them within a single spot of Fresno State in the race for an automatic BCS berth.

The full standings:

THE TOP 16
1. Alabama [.991]: It's only fitting, isn't it, that the team that stands as the biggest hurdle between the Tide and another BCS championship berth happens to be the only team that's won a BCS title other than Alabama since 2008?

2. Florida State [.966]: In Jeff Sagarin's "Predictor" rankings -- not the model used by the BCS, but the one that includes margin-of-victory and which Sagarin would claim are his "real" rankings " -- the Seminoles are now a clearcut No. 1, as far ahead of No. 2 Oregon as the Ducks are over No. 5, uh, Arizona State.

3. Ohio State [.887]: Surely, surely, the least-celebrated 22-game winning streak for a major BCS-level program in college football history.

4. Baylor [.886]: If someone invents a time machine, we're totally going back to, say, 1999 and telling college football fans that the biggest BCS debate of 2013 is which team is more deserving: undefeated Ohio State, or undefeated Baylor.
