I'm not saying y'all defense is bad, obviously a great defense, I'm saying that it's becoming hard even for great defenses to slow some of these offenses down.

It's a combination of Burrow and the offense with LSU. Burrow escapes more than any QB LSU ever had. We still held them to under 25. That will be different next year for them. Alabama had about 4 receivers that will go in the draft. We are expecting college kids to slow down professional level talent now??? Ohio State and Clemson don't have any competition in their leagues. It changes in the playoffs.

If you don't have a great QB, you're lacking. It's been that way for a while in college now.

They look like LSU towards the latter part of Miles tenure there. A lot of those head coaches dont want to update their schemes especially on offense.

Coaches still want to run that Michigan Bo Schembechler 1976 ground and pound offense when most of the successful guys have moved to spread offenses.

Some of the supposed great defenses have gotten shredded the past couple of weeks. Utah, Auburn, and Georgia, offenses are really that much better in 2019.

Alabama’s offense was so good, (I found this out later on) that Steele’s plan going into it was to limit Jeudy and Ruggs and just do what they can with the rest. And the crazy part is...that plan, on paper, worked. And Bama still scored 45
