when coach nick went out of his way to extoll curry's virtues as a defender I knew that dude was on mushrooms
Steph is capable of being decent in their defensive system but there is a reason the Greens, the Barnes, the Iguodalas, the Thompsons etc have to often cover for him
a competent 2 way player gives him problems
that dude was crip walking and shouting I am back when he came for the blazers
was stunting in games against OKC.....
fact of the matter is that we have 13 finals games to judge both splash brothers on against the Cavs......
CLE finds ways to limit them...
so unless this joker Coach Nick can acknowledge what the Cavs did without grasping for the injury argument then this video is a waste
Me and a few others this past season said he was a defensive liability and that Irving health would be the difference if the cavs got to the finals.
Curry has a lot of Dirk in him in that the warriors hide curry on defense. Same as the mavs have hidden Dirk on defense for 15 years.
The difference in this series was the cavs began to attack curry starting in game 3. They began to isolate him, run him through screens and pick and rolls.
Also late in game 2 even though it was a blow out the cavs began hitting him and giving him a shoulder to the chest as he came around screens.
Look at game 3 and the shoulder check that RJ gave curry there was similar shoulder check RJ gave curry late in game 2.
That is one of the reasons I was harping all season about being physical with curry and that the ankle and knee injuries would probably catch up him.
Also this shyt makes you respect how players like kobe, MJ and lebron were able to perform on both sides of the court and even perform well when they were injured.
