I liked all of those albums more than I fukked with Stankonia. And that's off the top of my head without really even thinking outside of the box, I'm sure there's at least a few others. Honestly, I fukk with Stankonia, but the album is just too long and has a lot of filler.

But I don't expect any of these albums to be recognized by those CAC publications as the best of the century.

I wouldn't have been surprised if they picked The Eminem Show or some shyt though.

Stankonia was a good album that people hated on because it was not up to the level of their previous 2 works. I wouldnt say it was the best of the century but it damn sure wasnt trash.

Can't completely disagree. It's probably in my top 5 of the 2000s.

its like they took all these styles, jimi, prince, shyt is so diverse, drum n bass, organs/gospel style stuff, salsa, and married it to that southern alien shyt they were known for, and did executed it really well

obviously the singles are classics, ms jackson is perfect, so fresh so clean is near, B.o.b. is amazing too even though it didnt have the chart success of the others

shyt was completely unorthodox

grown man shyt

Don't everybody like the smell of gasoline?
Well burn motherfukka burn American Dream
Don't everybody like the taste of Apple Pie?
Well snap for your slice of life I'm tellin' ya why
I hear that mother nature got on birth control
The coldest pimp be looking for somebody to hold
The highway up to Heaven got a crook on the toll
Youth full of fire ain't got nowhere to go nowhere to go

:whew: andre just casually dropping critiques of american culture/foreign policy in the first hook of the album

good lord at the rapping on this

most of you are more concerned with clowning reviewers or cacs or hipsters then the actual music

none of this is to say it's the greatest hip hop album of the 21st century, but it is very good sans ill call before i come/we luv deez hoes IMO
