Hiphop isn't the problem, the problem is how its being used by the group that controls it.

My posts and threads come from my LOVE for hip-hop and black people especially, not hatred.

Peace

This was all you needed to say.

As a matter of fact, juxtaposed to your post that I replied to, they say different things.

I'd argue one of the worst things to happen to human empathy is the poor decision of educated people to express the most extreme rhetoric when attempting to help others see their point or in an attempt to find middle ground with the audience said person is attempting to reach.

You and I both know that the rhetoric you used was inaccurate and had no educational purpose. Clearly you've talked about this topic ad nauseum so you knew it would inflame instead of garner mature discussion.

Hip-hop can't be the greatest something and the most vile something to you at the same time. One or the other.

You should be clear about the use of it instead of the actual creation of it being the nefarious ingredient.

With that being said, what say you about my paralleling you're rhetoric with the same misstep that the old civil rights black people had regarding their vile description of an art form that black youth were growing to love and represent them?

Side note:

You're momma thinks you're cool because she's your momma and you put your best foot forward in front of her.

I'm just trying to help a young brother get to the point where if his momma was hit with the Will Smith MIB flash, she wouldn't think he was a spiteful and self-absorbed mouthpiece that *lightbulb* mimics the talking points of white supremacists when it comes to the creations of fellow black people.

By the way, the rapper in the OP has a momma that thinks he's cool, too....Or nah?

Be well.

ive spoken plenty of times about the fact that hiphop isnt controlled by us. Matter fact "media propaganda" is the main focus of my entire point:

Media Propaganda: Now It FINALLY Might Make Sense To Some Of You

This Clip Sums Up How Oblivious To Media Propaganda Blacks Are. We Are Blind!!!!

BREAKING: Media Propaganda Is the "Glue" That Holds White Supremacy Together

Dr. Watkins Speaks On Empire/Media Propaganda (NEW)

"(Young Thugs Album Cover) Is A Propaganda Scheme To Weaken the Black Man In America"- Dr. Boyce

My entire point is how hiphop is being used as a tool against the black mind and also the black image/reputation. Ive said many many many times that it isnt hiphop itself....but who its CONTROLLED by. People who dont understand this reads my post and feel like im attacking hiphop itself. The problem is that the majority of us arent even aware of the concept of the intentional manipulation of a groups image. Thgius is why i always bring up HISTORIC FACTS like Minstrel Shows/blackface and also how Hitler used media propaganda against the Jews.

I disagree. I 100% believe that hiphop has been one of the most damaging things to happen to the overall image and reputation of the black race. Maybe i should word it differently??? Should i say "the intentional manipulation of hiphop was one of the worse things to happen to the black image"? :ld: Either way i feel like hiphop has helped to continue to spread the myth that blacks (specifically the young black male) are the most dangerous, violent, irresponsible, hypersexual, group on earth. Again, study past history and you will clearly see the parallels between todays most popular, mainstream artists and Minstrel Shows of the past. There is a CONCERTED EFFORT to keep the most negative stereotypes of the black man in the mainstream consciousness. You're NOT gonna see a Jewish 21 Savage or Young Thug. Notice the words "thug" and "savage". These are words subconsciously linked with black people worldwide.

To me, hiphop is one of the greatest artforms ever created. Im personally obsessed with it. Im a TRUE "hiphop head". Im obsessed with it from a technical standpoint. I think rappers are some of the most brilliant-minded individuals walking the planet. I think hiphop itself requires the most intelligence out of all artforms. When utilized correctly, hiphop has the power to motivate, uplift, inspire and educate the masses. Specifically the black masses:

And this is exactly why the gained control of it. Here's a short vid of Wise Intelligent explaining how hiphop positively affected black people and why the powers that be had to seize control of it for that very reason:

Hiphop is also the most popular artform on earth and is the main lens that people worldwide view black people through. Hiphop is the main representor of ALL black people. So no, hiphop itself isnt "vile", its how its being used by people who are insistent on black people never rising above a certain level.

Again, i have. The problem is that alot of you feel that the intentional manipulation of the black image using todays hiphop is a "conspiracy theory":francis:

Maybe they had a point? My entire stance on hiphop has only come about the past few years. Im 33 and now a father to a 4 year old daughter. My points of view on EVERYTHING has changed. Whats wrong with adults having an opinion about music that they deem as inappropriate. Adults and the youth will NEVER agree on whats appropriate or not. I HOPE a 40 year old cringes at vile rap lyrics unlike a 20 year old would. When i was younger i thought C. Deloras Tucker was an old "hater", now i see that she was correct the entire time.

Trust me breh, a white supremacist would NEVER attempt to wake black folk up to one of the most effective tactics being used today to attack the black image/reputation.
You have no idea how silly that sounds.:mjlol:

Bringing awareness to the white supremacist tactic of "media propaganda" = mimics the talking points of white supremacists:dead:

...and this is most folks' problem with you: you think people are "blind"
to this because you were. You think we're dumb.

What was C. Delores Tucker right about, specifically?

Any career in entertainment is inherently a young person's game, that is why. While it is rare a 50 year talent can shine through, he should have got with the program 30 years ago, as of now it just sounds like a mid-life crisis. Nas, Jay, Ice-T, Rakim, KRS don't sound ridiculous doing it because of their large body of work. Does that make more sense?

His flow/delivery low-key reminds me of Juicy J. He already has gain attention from this I think however - and this is a known for any writer: the more he write the better he is going get. Needs wordplay, etc.

Not bad though for what it is..
