My sister is a picky eater but she is really young so I forgive her. Your palette as an adult in many cases expand though. Otherwise you'll be 40 asking for a chicken fingers or people will be annoyed at you when you someone is ordering food for you the night you don't feel like cooking.

Food is amazing. Picky eaters normally are more close minded than picky cause half the stuff they claim they don't like they never even tried and are completely ignorant about...

Plus sometimes it depends on the restaurant you get it from. Can't go to a cheap low quality restaurant and use that as the barometer for sushi for example. That's like judging all hamburgers based off eating McDonald's.

And the mentality of picky eaters often extends beyond food.. These are normally the same folks who never travel outside the country or their hometown, always play things safe and in the box, work the same job for 20 years and never had a big promotion etc.
