"Nice Guy" simps are lowkey extremely narcissistic
These guys running through hallways with rice crispy treats are not doing it out of the fear that their girl will leave them, or even to satiate her hunger.
They are doing it to reaffirm to the world (and to themselves) that they are too good for the girl that they are with, at least from a moral standpoint. This enables them to carry themselves as if all woman are constantly indebted to them for all the nice shyt they have done. They wont come out and say it, but this feeling of always being relied upon actually boosts their ego.
In extreme cases, some simps actually feel vindicated they get cheated on/rejected saying shyt like "You were always a whore, but I treated you better than any other man ever would." Even though they are hurt, they take pride in the feeling that they were the only good male experience in that woman's life, and she will forever hate herself for not treating them right.
