do u know how long the wait lists for section 8 is???? most big cities waiting lists are closed cuz they are over 5 yrs long.....its not as simple as 1 would think..... n if she had ebt where would she cook the meals, apparently she was working so thats 1 strike against her gettin ebt.....

I literally do not, I have never even been to the website to sign up.
And I was pairing the two together, as opposed to her getting one or the other.
I honestly had no idea it was that bad, I just looked at the Cleveland Section 8 housing website and there were 249 listings "available now"

Its a process to get on those. Untop of that , theyre cutting alot of those programs...

I've been told that repeatedly. Again, I've never applied for it personally, and quite a few of my relatives work with or for their cities Housing Authorities and they make it seem like it only takes a week or so.
I guess it depends on where you live, and how long it has been since you applied.
I wonder how she ended up in that situation?
