Would be dope af.For real though, don't they know that if they reintroduced the cruiserweight title and treated it with respect that the fans would treat it with respect?

Crazy to think the skills and looks from the WCW cruiserweight stars are manifesting in main eventers these days. Rollins, Ambrose, Balor, Zayn and other smaller, more technical guys are generating from the Guerrero/Benoit mold.
A cruiserweight division similar to Jr. Heavyweight in NJPW or the X-division glory days would give an alternative route to the main event outside of traditional mid card title. Instead of the logjam of stars there, you could have all of these smaller workers put on some truly classic shyt on smackdown and let the cream of that crop begin to invade main event status. The days of the prototypical heavyweight champion only being 6'3" and 260lbs. are behind us.

But you do realize this would also put them in a box, right?
I loved the cruiserweights back then, but most of them never broke out of that. So then you just saw them wrestling eachother forever. I feel like Guerrero, Jericho, and Mysterio broke thru that ceiling for a reason... some of these guys you listed would always have that ceiling over them if they brought it back. A dude like Balor deserves more than that.
