I think that thanks to those of us that did get vaccinated, it's curbed the numbers to a manageable levels for the hospitals not to be overburdened at this point, and health officials probably got exhausted from dealing with all the pushback lol. Simple matter is that covid still exists and is still fukking people up though, so it's up to at least a certain amount of people to do their part to see that it doesn't get back to early pandemic levels. Like I said, it's a personal choice to get the shot now, but it saddens me that there's still folks going out of their way to spread their cowardice (to put it bluntly) when it comes avoiding doing their part to protect their communities and society at large (again not directed at you, you manned up and did what was needed). Even if it's it's something as simple as wearing a mask, that's dope in my book, but there's no brownie points in proudly going out of one's way to taunt this virus and those that are taking it seriously for the benefit of not just themselves, but others.
