So, todays battlefront has centered on GAMES.
And while its been fun acting like Xbox isn't getting flooded with titles in 2014 while the otherside starves
I think its time we get back to reality and recognize what is really going on.
The Last of Us is now slated to land on PS4 this summer. Thats really soon. Too soon to be anything major
And while some will say thats great for those who haven't played TLOU
There aren't that many PS4 owners who haven't. Lets be real here, only diehard sony stans even played that game
The average gamer usually doesn't play most AAA major titles, only the occasional Halo or similar status can be a sure buy
What is dangerous tho is the fact they pushing this game out twice in 1yrs time. Thats not a good look
And while I normally would joke about how horrible that is. There is something very real that everyone should be paying attention to.

If The Last of US sells well on PS4, wouldn't sony then do what they do best and bullshyt/milk it?
They tried this last gen already, please act like you remember. PS2 HD remakes cuz they had nothing else to feed you all

Watch GT6 Remastered be next. And you guys will act like the port is better than Forza 5
When GT6 isn't even better than GT5 which wasn't better than Forza 3
But now I'm moving the topic to somewhere else. Do you guys agree that sony MIGHT try to push more PS3 titles if TLOU sells ok on PS4. And would you guys be open to that? Real question, no hate. Lets be aware of our surroundings n shyt...

this is not really going to take off anyway. both consoles are going to experience some attempts to strengthen their initial lineups with last gen games (MS is looking into backward compatibility now) MS would like to do exactly what sony is doing but their exclusive stable is neither as deep or as heralded

either way, it will subside in a couple years at the most once there is a solid stream of true next gen games

Microsoft has ALWAYS been looking into backwards compatibility. Thats not related to what is going on with sony
Microsoft has a ton of games, and a ton of exclusive games (in the double digits) slated for this year alone
No, they are not in the same boat, not in the slightest. The PS3 delema is being downplayed, while the xbox lineup is being overlooked
But when all those games drop, this bullshyt sentiment won't last. Tho I do expect the usual 3cepts to claim ever game sucks
