I did. Communications degree.

I do nothing in Communications now.

I make 6 figs, and although I worked my ass off to get here, I still ask myself daily how I got here.

I worked at the top restaurant in the city I used to live in before corona came, lucked up through knowing some people. They decided not to re-open after Rona and most the chefs I worked with there are now the execs of very well known fine dining spots in the city on some generation of miracles shyt.

May not be some coli 6 figures, 6 certs, 6 lambos shyt but for what I do that was a very big deal and I'm happy I got to spend years there advancing and making better than average money

I can't complain at with my career choice of education.

I'm actually on the administrative side of it now though.

I work with kids which keeps me young and helps me make a positive difference in the community. I'm off on the weekends, all holidays, and the money is decent especially for the amount of time I work.

There are some people making much better money in other careers, and they are working most of the time too.

The wife and I have some real estate investments that we utilize as passive income and we are getting more over time.

I took the initial step as far as joining the military and then realizing my old career field of aircraft maintenance wasnt getting me anywhere.. But ever since I crossed over into Cyber, its been one lucky break after another. Talking to the right people, being at the right place in the right time, all that jazz.

Ive have multiple job opportunities constantly around or at 6 figures

Yeah, I accidentally fell into UX research when I was finishing up my PhD. My girlfriend at the time said a friend of her’s does cool work with technology. I contacted her friend and got the job. I had never heard of user experience research before, not even a little bit. But I was used to doing research in school, so I was a good fit. Little did I know UX research would become a popular career that pays well

I got an accounting degree but my grades weren't stellar nor did I have strong internships - through work ethic I have a job that I love with coworkers I like and work that I like as well in a stable industry & my career just started so I ain't done yet
