Be honest, will you be paying $80 for games?

:mjlol: Most people are gonna cave in, wait for a price drop, or pirate the shyt. The same old dance and song lol. I mean it’s a hobby and most people are willing to drop $$$ for their hobbies.

Will be interesting to seee how the casual market responds, I imagine Most peopel buying COD (a lot of grown men) won’t care but the casuals who buy mario kart? That might be a harder sell

GTA and its only because of its shear size and longevity. youll be playing it for over a decade and finding new things every year plus the online gaming.

Red Redemption is a maybe only because NPCs have a back stories and there's a lot of easter eggs that take years of hunting and discovering, but I'd have to see a trailer.

Nope. Doesn't matter which game it is, not spending more than 60. If you spend more than that, you've sent a message that you are willing to pay higher prices.

Greed in modern society is too much. These publishers are profitable. The bosses in the companies just aren't satisfied with making 10 of 20x the salary of their employees. They want to make 50 or 100x more.

Yeah, it's cute but I've seen this song and dance before. :russell:

These discussions were the exact same when games went from $60 to $70 at the start of the gen. 5 years later, same folks will be probably caving into $80 games while capping online about voting with your wallet.

TYRONE GA!
And I keep saying that the reason cartridge games were more expensive than CD based games is because cartridges are both hardware and software.

From this same picture looks how much cheaper PS1 games were in relation to Genesis and N64 games.
40 dollar PS1 game is over 80 dollars now
