i think sony games (single player games), rockstar, CDPR, and Larian will easily deserve my $80 dollars.

Was CHEAP as far as I was concerned.

Killer Instinct on the N64 was another game I felt was worth every penny

I wanted to have a Neo-Geo but the games started at $199 so nah for me

I paid $80 for Shenmue 2 Pal import but mainly for collectors reasons (and I loved the franchise)

Other than that.... Can't say any game would be worth that much to me. Goldeneye I would have been cool because that game was played for years. But nowadays? Besides the services, games are on sale literally everyday. So it makes little to no sense to pay full price imo

This is where I’m at. Once my kid comes all my gaming will probably done on pc. If they decide to pick up gaming I’ll let them go the console route.

I had to pay for my own Games at some point after making my parents do it(doing the Blockbuster thing could only do so much)so I get their Frustrations as far as Pricing went

Edit:if it was a Subscription Service like Plus and Gamepass then My Parents wouldn't have no issue paying the Yearly and holding me to just that and not buying fresh from The Case at Toys R Us

Nah. Aside from metroid prime 4 which I'll be getting at a discount anyways, no games will be purchased for full price from me. I'd rather sub to gamepass, play a little then move on
