Imagine renting out your downtown condo on AirBnB and a Toronto gang rents it out, and throws a weeknight party that sees a gunfight on the 25th floor.
That's shocking situation that unfolded at a condo near Front and Blue Jays Way earlier this month.
Police say a gang rented out a condo for a party which was crashed by members of a rival gang. Early in the morning on April 19th there was a gunfight on the 25th floor of the building with multiple shots fired.
The incident led to the kidnapping of two boys at the party, where they were allegedly held against their will over two days at various locations.
Police say they were beaten, tied up, forced to perform sexual acts, and had to play Russian Roulette with a loaded gun.
Investigators allege that the kidnappers contacted the victim's families and made ransom demands that were eventually paid. The victims were released.
Police have arrested 4 males between the ages of 16 and 23 and are looking for a 17 year-old and 23 year-old
