LWFC use to be my favorite Common album for the longest, I eventually came around to ODIAMS but Be is the 1 I can listen to and not get bored with. Common is a great mc but sometimes his albums would drag a bit but with Be only being 11 tracks it's perfect.

Oh yeah, Resurrection is still that shyt but I don't know bruhs, Be is what I find myself revisiting more these days when I listen to Common Sense. :ehh:

And for the record, LWFC is great as far as production goes. Quest and Dilla hooked that nikka up. But I enjoy the beats more than I do the actual songs in 2017. :manny:

That Intro :ohlawd: I might like "Finding Forever" a lil better. I'd have to re-listen, it's close. "Be" did start one of the best album runs imo. "Be", "Finding Forever" "UMC". Universal Mind Control people slept on. Maybe, cause It was to different to his fanbase. Them beats on UMC were :myman:

Finding Forever was Com on cruise control to me. It was aiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight, but I never go back and listen to that album. Be was that shyt tho. He was giving nikkas hope with that album! Ye and Dilla hooked Com up with perfect blend of soulful beats.

I remember a year or so before the album came out Common saying he was back to listening to Illmatic and Only Built 4 Cuban Linx for influence for the next album, which would be, Be.

I still ain't heard UMC and don't intend too. That single he had was dodo for it. I don't even remember the name of that shyt.

Electric Circus was cool and ahead of it's time. If that album came out in the last couple of years, nikkas would eat it up now.

Can't think of an intro more beautiful than this one right now. Really not one track on that bytch I feel like skipping, same with Resurrection. Like Water for Chocolate has some of my favorite Common songs but some so-so ones too. Over the years I've been putting One Day It'll All Make Sense above Like Water for Chocolate.

Finding Forever definitely played like a be part 2. It was the beats I liked a lil better. One was ribs with sweet sauce, one was ribs with smokin' sauce. Both were still ribs though.
