Birth.

Code blues can come outta nowhere during delivery.

I almost lost my son for my first child.
Almost lost my wife on my 2nd.

I can't stop the homie from losing his life if he's on his way out. I'm sure his immediate family will hold him down and I can make my way there if he's still alive when the birth is finalized and everyone is stable.

Im not married to him and a bro will understand

Yall not mobsters

I cant choose at the moment. But i dont think theres a wrong answer. Maybe the reasoning could give off scumbag for either one.

But there are great reasons to be made for both.

The fact that dudes are picking the homie is wild as fukk to me lol
Nah, it makes sense. That’s your last opportunity to see your best friend. Missing out on your child’s birth isn’t some monumental fukk up you can’t recover from.

It’s not as though you are even NEEDED at either place.

Birth of my child, no question.

If they were your homie, they wouldn't want you to miss that moment seeing your child born; it's a special moment that can't be taken back.

They'd understand why you weren't there or take it personally, and in any life-or-death scenario, a true selfless friend would rather see you prioritize your family (or soon-to-be) over them.
