The “Deandre” comment could be seen as disrespectful to some
But outside of that
He really ain’t sneak dissing nobody because many black Americans say we have names of our oppressors and wish our names had actual meanings
And if you knew where he grew up(Alief-SWATS)
Then you would have more insight on why he felt that way as a child and his transition into fully embracing his Nigerian roots
But the internet is a machine and vacuum of overreaching and trying to make statements on shyt that’s not there
Until the nikka comes out with something(I’ve personally never seen him) truly offensive to black americans
It’s pretty much bird babble

If you nggas don’t stop letting hoe babble guide your life. Stop being led by women :scust:

There is no way you would have watched that video and said ‘he hating on his wife’ if it wasn’t for that random ass chick saying it first.
Yeah, I don’t see. He clearly stated she is important for him to be there, but he wanted to see why it was for the interviewer.

Brolic... Alcoholics
they goin off a interview where they were speaking on her relationship in the beginning when he quit fukkin with her
The interview I remember is she was like his manager or something and they were fukkin. He never thought anything of it other than that, but she always had feelings.

From what I remember about the interview, she stopped fukking with him and wanted to keep it professional, which he was cool with in the beginning. But he eventually came around.

But, she’s everywhere with him and performs too. Isn’t that the opposite of hating. He literally has her shinning with him

Yea.. the "view" I get of them is he is family first and I recall seeing a post of Busta Rhymes acting like they were omnipotent beings ESPECIALLY her. I've even checked the credits on some of the songs I like from him to see who produced it and she's in alot of the credits..

For context

He’s an independent rapper with a pro-black, pro-Nigerian, pro-black love and family slant whose been getting bigger buzz over the past 4 years. The woman of course is his wife who also raps and is on a lot of his projects and in his videos.

He was nominated for Best New Artist at The Grammys, they were on the red carpet getting interviewed
Ahh gotcha. So then it was his moment.:francis: If that’s the case, it makes me feel like interviewer was a lil outta pocket b/c a lot of her accolades actually went to the wife. Yeah I would’ve been a lil irritated too

Like winning a Nobel Prize and an interviewer talking about how your husband inspired him and is thanking him for all his hard work while you just sit there with the prize and an incredulous look on your face.

:mjlol:

But I just saw it as him wanting the interviewer to go deeper. Seems, to me, like the guy really loves his wife.
