Nah man I disagree, Beans may have been one of the best lyricist signed to the ROC that wasn't Jay. I would have took the chance and really spoke to him. Made sure he locked in and got the work done just like Jay did for Jay Elect on his debut. If Jay doesn't step in not sure we get that album.

I would let him know what the plan is and expectations was and maybe got him in rehab if the drugs was that big of an issue. In business you take calculated risks! Plus it's not like Jay doesn't have a ton of money. I believe in second chances, it's just how I am built. Also who's to say he went back to the streets because of how the Roc situation dissolved.
