Yeah he got shot in one lung and it fukked his breathing and his voice all the way up. He talked about it for a while on the rap radar podcast. He said for a while he had to punch in and it took him a while to be able to do a 16 without running out of breath.



He's got the new voice even when he speaks. It's for life, and he can't help it, apparently.
