Jada was baiting Jay after Jada had the Fiesta remix and Mya's "Best of Me" remix and got replaced by Jay on both songs. At the time Jada was about to drop his first solo and people were saying he was better than Hov and the Lox and others saw it as Jay using his name/power to get Jadakiss off these songs that would've elevated his status greatly. So Jada started throwing slick shots at Jay, which Jay never responded to. Sigel said he saw the Roc was having issues (Dame and Jay had beef going all the way back to 2000) and said him getting into a back and forth with Kiss would bring his name up, and since he saw Jay wasn't going to do anything, Sigel said win or lose, going up against Kiss would gain him all the respect and it would seperate him and State Prop as their own entity outside of Rocafella.
