I may be in the minority but just about any product can shine your beard up. Really it’s all in the beard height and fill. You don’t want blotches…you don’t want the thin r&b beard…you also don’t want the ‘is he from Philly’ too thick beard.
But yea I use Shea ‘beard detangler’ before using the Shea beard balm, not oil. Works for me i hadnt noticed changes from a new formula
A bit of coconut oil on beard damped with warm water is all I need
Scented jamaican black castor oil. Get the sheen + hair health treatment + a nice scent. The natural/unscented smells a little musty because of the natural nutsmell though so def cop one of the scented ones
The ladies love it too. I've never had my beard grabbed and nuzzled as much just doing a pomade or another lotion.
Scotch Porter products especially the Shape & Hold Balm been gettin da job done for me but I'm definitely gonna revisit this thread to see some other options
