If the Bears legit believe in Trubisky as a franchise QB, then adding another running back - when Cohen and Howard are already one of the best tandems in the league right now - might not be the best move for Trubisky developing into somebody who can win games with his arm.
That said, the formula Chicago employed + Khalil Mack landing in their laps earned them a division title. So why not stand pat and add to a strength instead of turning a weakness into a strength in a division that isn't exactly predictable when it comes to who will be good and who won't be in recent seasons?
Even Seattle handed the keys to Russell Wilson at some point.
