he's also not good at going thru his progressions. he will look for his first option far too often and then take off if his first read isn't open.

As a coach you want your first option to work if your qb is having to read multiple reads then your scheme is fukked

Some coaches build a system around players strengths and some coaches force their system on players.

The Bears always waited until they were behind the 8 ball in the season before they started actually running plays and offense that made sense for Field's skill set. That's how he went form being a turnover machine in Chicago and not in Pitt.

Even more of a reason why they either had to get the OC hire right, or bring in a new coaching staff completely that would make sure they got this right with another new highly talented QB.

This, mf tried to fit him in a square hole, let alone some of their play calling made no sense, and this new oc seems to follow in suit

Mf called a speed option on 4th down

Previous staff called two screens in the shadow of our goal post

I think Caleb talent with circumvent a lot of the retarded coaching choices this year but its definitely not a super bowl winning plan to keep these bufoons with what they've displayed so far. only week 3 though, perhaps waldron will be less stupid going forward.

You know they thought hed be a difference maker but honestly what about this scheme or line makes us to believe that, dude has limitations, this scheme doesn’t help

Black QBs will always be undervalued unless they are superhuman. Mediocre white QBs will always somehow have value. The media plays a lot of games.

Glad to see him ballin...

The Bears FO is definitely regretting the decision because even if they believe Caleb is the QB of the future still, they won’t be there to see it cause he’s not gonna be able to win enough games this year to justify them keeping their jobs.

Ryan Poles is not on the hot seat whatsoever this season, his job is safe. Flus is a different story

I THINK IF THE BEARS SUCK
AND JF BALLS OUT
POLES IS GETTING FIRED
FOR ONLY GETTING A 4TH RD PICK
FOR JF

It'll be a perfect storm.

Fields puts it all together
Daniels is HIM
Stroud goes to the Playoffs again

Bears finish 6-11. Bear Down.

Oh boy...

I mean, they clearly still made the right choice :heh: Caleb did more as a passer than Fields ever did, and Fields may never be a starter again

It’s only due to 24/7 news cycle and dopamine friend social media that people are freaking out.

That decision is even more profound considering now on top of Detroit and GB the Vikings are set for a decade too :snoop: Bears now play in the toughest division in the history of North American sports. They need a QB with top 5 upside and they have that.
