The OC wasn't calling enough plays for DJ...it was a dumbed down offense

Justin voiced frustration, the offense opened up, Justin started getting the rock to DJ (Philly kid btw) & the. He mysteriously transforms into pro bowl caliber receiver

The OC failed Justin last season

I'm an Eagles fan and I can call a spade a spade

If my QB is that dependent on the OC I ont want him :manny:

Bc in your defense of Justin fields, you are literally telling me he is a product of his OC. If that’s the case why wouldn’t I just pay the right OC and go cheap on QB :wtf: Like forget Caleb Williams I can get Gardner Minshew to do that.

Nah, don’t want him.

The offensive coordinator has to formulate the gameplan and call the plays that put the QB in the best position to succeed :skip:

This isn't rocket science :gucci:

I’m laughing bc we just did a managers training at my job on this type of thinking

A regular, going thru the motions employee has to be told what to do, can’t initiate/be proactive. Needs constant coaching. We don’t value this

An exemplary employee does things without you having to tell them, they can improvise, you meet with them and they can sometimes dictate to YOU

Fields, by your own words, is a standard employee. A standard QB, He’s going to be only as good as a gameplay and nothing more. By your own words, I can find that anywhere. And I’m damn sure not picking up standard employee’s option and paying him 40M’s.

Kill your own point, brehs

I'm a Finance Exec with 50 employees...

Not everyone is a Tom Brady, who can put a gameplan together with their coach/OC

I refuted your point and then you went in another direction

95% of QBs are standard employees :mjlol:

You got it breh

mac jones and justin fields passing numbers are pretty much identical
for all the crying fields fans do about the weapons, mac jones weapons are/were far worse. dudes #1 was kendrick bourne

but the resulting analysis is that mac jones is trash and justin fields was good but not put in a great situation :pachaha:
Attitude thing. Fields has been nothing but professional to his credit. Mac...not so much...

Oh no, please don’t get it fukked up. I addressed and shut down your take clearly and firmly here

And don’t think I don’t remember who I’m talking to …you the same ngga that said this

We don't know if hurts is the unquestioned starter for yrs to come

If he struggles to start the season, fans will be calling for Pickett

My ngga I better not ever, EVER see you try to talk QBs or football in general, let alone think you spitting knowledge. Foh :bryan:

You don't know sports and it's clear...you don't even know the functions of a fkn OC

I'm from Philly, I know the fanbase...fans were already pissed off at Jalen's bad body language at the end of the season...in my city, the starting QB will get booed & there will be calls for the backup to start...it's happened generation after generation

Randall Cunningham got benched for Rodney Peete, McNabb got benched for Kevin Kolb, Vick for Foles, Wentz for Hurts...

You clearly don't know football if you don't think a terrible OC can compromise a QB. so I'm just gonna dead this discussion

Mout :mjlol:

I'm not talking about Caleb, I'm talking about the young cac QBs who get more rope :stopitslime:

We should be comparing Justin to other situations around the league

Chicargo wasn't winning the division nor making the playoffs with their roster last season...the OC set him up to fail early in the season

And ppl are really faulting Justin for being put in a QB graveyard yet trying to make the most of it

Love Smith sticking it to the Texans by winning that game at the end of 2022 really changed the league altogether
  1. Chicargo gets the first pick
  2. Chicargo trades the first pick for DJ Moore & two first rounders
  3. One of the first rounders ends up #1 overall the next year
  4. The #1 overall pick forces Chicargo to trade Fields
  5. Houston lucks into drafting CJ Stroud and him being in a stable situation
CJ wasnt in no damn stable situation. He took over one of the worse teams and made the playoffs. QBs are suppose to elevate a team, not vice versa. :dahell:

stats without context.

Why do we discount rushing yardage and touchdowns? Hmm?
Its not stats without context. U wanna include running stats, be my guess. Thats not how i nor a majority of people judge QB talents.

U think teams want a QB just for their running stats? :heh:

Its called dual threat QB. He isnt one. Hes just a runner of the football

These JF sympathizers are hilarious
