ehh. dre has been way more popular with white folks for the past 15 or so years. outside of the west coast, black folks never really got behind this aftermath stuff(not counting 50 cent, who had his own movement).

as for the recent increase in criticism, it stems from michel'le being on r&b divas. dre beating her up is new news to most people.

and the dee barnes thing is ancient. your average "suprememe knowledgable" rap fan has trouble going back further than '93. and the people who were around back then, werent even thinking about it anymore.
