First beat was promising, until the 8th bar...and when there was no switch up, or added production other than the alternate part of the sample, (you just sampled it the exact same way you did the first part of the beat) I was like



If you're gonna stick to JUST taking a sample and a drum loop (an overused drum loop at that,) and throwing it together, then just stop asking for feedback.




You need to work on incorporating more of your OWN sounds into the sample/drum pattern, alter the samples a little more (other than speeding them up) and use more obscure/harder to work with parts of the sample. Nothing I heard really had me like "damn, how'd he do that", or "damn, I can really see where he put his own spin on this." You sound like me when I made my first few beats. Just keep at it and experiment more. If you're gonna stick to a dated, boom-bap sound, you HAVE to put a unique, updated spin on it. Peace.
