Biden advocated for social security to be apart of the government shut down bc he knew republicans wouldn’t do that, but were willing to not pay middle class governmental workers.

He dared them to go all the way if they’re going to do it. He called their bluff.

They don't care about mass incarceration, in fact they were some of the main ones pushing for the crime bill in the 90s
Most of them don't have school loans, cause they don't have degrees. If they do they got it when college was like $2000 a year

The majority of black ppl over 65 would be straight up CONSERVATIVES if the republican parties wasn't full of a bunch of racists

Is it giving eulogy at the funeral of a segregationists, Strom Thurmond and then bragging about the fun he had working with segregationists in congress

Is it blaming the problem in the black community on illiterate parents

Which outreach efforts led to his popularity in the black community, please do tell.

To think that they would actually vote for someone who could potentially double income taxes is stupid as hell. I just had a conversation with my 60 something year old aunt and she said and I quote "The stuff Bernie is promising sounds nice but someone has to pay for it and its probably going to be us"

Bernie is the champion of the "everybody gets a trophy era" millenials and older people who refuse to grow up. It just so happens that demographic dominates online discourse

I didn't trip last year when Africans and Islander were made out to be the enemy. I realized that such rhetoric was rooted in self hatred.When that weirdo who was talking that "fukk foreigners" nonsense was exposed for looking down on his OWN people, I wasn't surprised. If you hate yourself, it's very easy to hate people who look like you.

This is ridiculous. Where were these complaints during the last 20 years when we spent trillions of dollars on regime change wars. Where were these compaints when we gave tax cuts to the rich and bailed out the banks. Older black voters (and most older voters period) are just conditioned to follow mainstream corporate narratives without doing any independent research.

Most of Bernie's proposals are moderate in comparison with most modern advanced countries. The politcal narratives in this country have shifted so far to the right that simple things like universal healthcare, free college and environmental regulation are deemed radical. The Republicans of this country would be considered a fringe far right party in any other part of the world and democrats would be considered center right.

youth turnout is down. This fantasy y’all have about Bernie getting the youth vote out isn’t happening.

he’s done the exact opposite. He’s not getting any new voters yet alone youth voters to come out for him at all.

that strategy needs to be dreaded. He’s not getting a great majority of black youth votes and he’s not getting more youth voters to come out and vote for him. Y’all need to deal with that reality and switch it up, that ship has sailed; it ain’t happening.

Less people vote in primaries than general.
