I just read that article about Road Warrior Klanimal's thoughts. This dude is so ass backwards and stuck in the past. He said Becky should be a "pure white meat babyface." Yeah, because that was working soooo well
And don't get it twisted: everyone love pun-making, steampunk girl Becky. Becky is likable as fukk, in general. But fact is shyt like Becks pulling up on Nia and beating her ass before telling her to "keep my name out your mouth" has done far more to get her over than all those months of being the happy go lucky Luigi to Charlotte's Mario.

Pop culture-wise, if you think about it - it's amazing timing.
There are more TV shows/ movies out now fronted by and told from the perspective of women than ever before. shyt - There's a good chance that Becky wins the title between the release of Captain Marvel's big screen debut and her throwing hands with Thanos in 'Endgame'.
Between this character and condescending vegan environmentalist Bryan - they stumbled into two gimmicks that are a good reflection of the period they were created in.
They haven't been this lucky with the zeitgeist since CM Punk was the Generation X guy taking on Baby Boomer Vince months before 'Occupy Wall Street' and they threw that whole storyline away for no good reason.
EDIT: Thinking about it again, more recently - Enzo's run as the Cruiserweight champ was an uncanny copy of the rise of Tekashi 6IX9INE
right down to the premature ending when the authorities got involved.
Not to derail the thread but yeah - she's done a great job. I don't watch the shows anymore and I've heard about it as someone who pays no attention, so more power to her.
