Everything was expensive in that place. Don't remember the last time I was there. Reddit folks were hyping up their stock so I know there are a lot of folks crying themselves to sleep. Theres a guy on Reddit that lost $45,000 . How in the world can you park $45k in that shyt stock and think your gonna make a come up. I don't know who even shops there anymore for years

I’m actually kinda sad to see them go. It was good to have a place where you can see and feel home goods before purchasing them.

We didn’t go there often, but when we did we came with the 20% off coupon and had relatively pleasant experiences.

They were selling XYZ and people shopped online and ended up buying QRS. For example if you wanted measuring cups, you go into BBY and they have OXO stainless steel measuring cups for 22 bucks, same price as Amazon, Target, etc.... People then go to Amazon and find some cheap weird brand from China thats only 10 bucks and buy that then complain that BBY was too expensive. No, the measuring cups werent too expensive, folks decided to buy some knockoff junk from China instead.

We are definitely in a race to the bottom where the only products that will exist are really high end products regular folks wont see and super cheap crap from China people are buying online. People are taking the easy way out and just blaming the store when the real issue is the US consumer based economy is increasingly propped up on very cheap goods from China. Folks just want the cheapest thing they can get.
