It depends on the family as some Nigerian families are really . They try to justify it by saying that white people don't have a culture so can be easily 'molded' into the Nigerian way of life but we all know the real reasons... My family is a bit different, I don't think that they would mind too much if I brought home someone who was black but not Igbo/Nigerian as long as he fully embraced our cultural values. They would be a bit disappointed but they wouldn't stop speaking to me or anything. If it were my brothers then the case would be much more serious.

That's because we have a bigger population than other African countries. I think 1/5th of black people in Africa are Nigerian, or something like that. Our self-haters are more in number but probably less in proportion to the overall population. I personally believe that other West African women like white men more than Nigerian women. I've even heard of women from a particular West African country going to sperm banks with the purpose of obtaining a white man's sperm in that same West African country. I'm not naming names as I don't want their wahala on here...

lol most of my friends are nigerian, so im quite familiar with nigerian customes. So i dont want it to seem like im generalizing.

But nigerians do have this thing where they look down on other africans while bootlicking cacs. Did you watch lagos to london ? Thats the kinda thing im talking about.
