See this is what dudes don't understand, boxing is an actual artform with real strategy and thought going into it unlike mma. Watch any mma match and then watch what happens when one dude goes down. The other leaps on him and just starts wildly flailing away until the ref pulls him off. It is idiotic and something i would expect from monkeys. They know they cannot defend themselves and everything they do is luck, so they react with fear even though their opponent is down.

:mjlol: Mowgli got this dude all in his feelings

It's not the style it's the person. If you're trash, you're trash. You probably have trained very hard and that's why you did well against him breh.

That's not to say another BJJ cat wouldn't be able to take you, but it's good you had that experience. Just keep doing your thing and remember the day you slack? That gonna be the first day on your downward spiral to getting washed, no matter how good you are.

So keep practicing...keep up with the cardio...make sure you get that rest and recovery time. And even through med school you'll see that your skills won't decline :salute:

yes i am naturally athletic and do well in all sporting endeavors. But a lot of these bjj dudes need a rude awakening about their style, saying boxing ain't shyt, saying boxing is for phaggots. I respect all styles, but recognize that boxing is the best.
