Raleigh is good. What type of tech do you do? RTP sounds like the move for you. Morrisville,Cary, or Raleigh.

I'm a Site Reliability Engineer. I specialize in Linux Operations / Cloud Computing. Working from home is awesome it offers mobility but still need to be on my P's and Q's always gotta improve your skillset.

I've been fortunate that my move to Texas helped me propel my career a LOT.

I spent time in Raleigh and Durham. IMO it really boils down to what you're into and what you make of it:ehh: If you're in tech and bringing in a decent salary, with the cost of living you can live pretty comfortably:takedat: Nightlife isn't crazy but it's there. Durham is more of a bar scene, Raleigh has Glenwood South and downtown. If you really get bored, take a weekend trip, but that can go for anywhere. There's tons of great places to eat, especially in Durham. Low key, the Mexican food :blessed:Because of the colleges and all the jobs you'll run into people from all over. I think it's be a better place to live if you're already settled down or got G but even if you're single you can still make it work.

Where my peeps at who used to post up in South Square? :lolbron:

I was just a kid :wow: use to spend all my money at the arcade tilt. I was a problem in that MvC2 :banderas:

Yea we got IBM HP and Cisco that I know of. I wouldn't trust Cisco though they laid my girl off for no reason. I heard IBM kinda famous for that too. I work in a hospital so im not too familiar with that field but its all I ever hear about. If you get the opp I would take it. Check Charlotte out too.

ATL…overly
My boy moved from ATL to Raleigh to work in IT with Red Hat. He's doin well, but the nightlife scene is trash, from what he's told me. He usually just goes to Charlotte to hang out and is trying to get out but I've heard good things about Raleigh for a min so :manny:

Cisco came at me a while back. I work under Dell/EMC BTW and I know there's offices in Raleigh. Obviously the headquarters for Dell in Austin.

IBM I don't trust either man..I heard they're notorious for that ish.

I heard there's a lot of healthcare in the RDU area. Probably will take some time to check things out for myself.
