Music changed because of the people. When dudes started listening to Drakes n ish, exploring their inner btcih, like a learning material on how to understand the struggle of your soon to be-don´t have the balls to ask her out yet girlfriend - it was game over for real men.

Your point is irrelevant. These "real men", like what you are pretending to be, could still support 50 and rappers like him. The game didn't change itself bruh :francis:

He isn't "great", but average? :what:

I go back and listen to GRODT and nothing stands out besides the production.... I know at the time it was real aggressive and needed for the climate. But rapping wise it wasn't really impressive or clever. And I think the fact that he hasn't done anything good musically since he hasn't been under the Dre/interscope is evidence that he wasn't that good skill wise

mixtape is decent, it's better than Animal Ambition which was pretty bad. and 50 did fell off, he's also never evolved while other artists have for example Jay-Z, Kanye, Eminem. until he decides to put out something other than the usual gun talk rap then he's gonna be stagnant.

he doesn't drop multi-syllable raps like Jay-Z Eminem or anything of that nature, he is pretty average skill wise. his songwriting is his best feature. his hooks are also his strong points but it isn't on the level as his past work.

hip hop has changed for the better, nobody wants to hear about murdering dudes nonstop, guys like Kendrick & J. Cole prove that you don't need to be hard to sell a million records. people just stuck in the past.
