Thread starter created this thread by typing on his stomach with a lollipop in his mouth--- Before Bron came in it was a mans league. Players competed against each other. Bron is the one that started the locker room orgies- F*** a LeBron James

So that Game 6 against Detroit in 07 wasn't exciting? :beli:
Game 6 of the ECF in 12 - 13 weren't exciting? :beli:

you cited just two games

I think you misunderstood my criticism. To me an exciting player isn't someone who has moments of brilliance, its a player who is so incredible that I have to watch every game they play. Bron has never been that. Kobe is the only dude in the last 15 years that I felt I had to watch play every game.

People write him off as a chucker, but I think AI was the most exciting player besides Kobe after MJ hung 'em up. Every night he was matched up against defenders who were a foot or taller than him and he still found ways to embarrass the competition. The only thing I hate was that every midget across America donned a #3 jersey, a headband, and an arm sleeve proceeded to chuck away in order to sate their AI fantasy.

Understandably, African American males loved dude more than anyone. They could relate more so to him; inner city upbringing, normal sized human being (in the basketball world, anyway) an underdog...it made for good commentary. There really wasn't a player outside of Kobe that I'd prefer to see play. T Mac was pretty exciting too, but he didn't have the same flare as Bean & AI, but he was still flashy and his game was damn smooth.

And lets e honest with ourselves here... Kyrie Irving is more exciting to watch than Lebron. If this nikka can stay healthy and Bynum can get his sh*t together, Cavs will be a problem.

If only Kyrie was 6'7

Yeah.

It's not like the NBA had prime Duncan, prime KG, prime Iverson, prime Shaq, prime Kobe, prime TMac, prime Vince, prime Kidd, prime Nash, prime Pierce, prime Allen, or prime Dirk circa 2001-2005.

My era of basketball :blessed: :blessed:

Hence why I used the term "circa." If those players hadn't peaked by the time LeBron entered the league, it was only a year or two later that they entered their prime.

And that would have happened regardless. If anything, you could argue those players would be even MORE accomplished had LeBron never existed :troll:

No LeBron and Paul Pierce goes down as the greatest SF of the 00s :wow:

I can't understand not liking Bron's game. Is it because the dude takes smart shots and will pick apart defenses with the right play?

Seeing Bron dismantle a defense with a mixture of passing, scoring, attacking during weak or missed rotations, and demolishing teams in the transition is special. I love watching a playmaker work.

There's a hundred score first players like A.I, Kyrie, etc and the like so players like CP3, Lebron, Paul George, John Wall, etc.

Dem showrines Lakers and Phoenix Sun led Nash team's were just...
