I think that’s the reason why there are more brehs with pale blondes and redheads from Ireland and germany, than brehs with dark brunettes from Italy, Spain, Portugal and Greece.
Also in modern Nordic /Western European countries, men and women there are less traditional, are more sexually open, are more open-minded in general, are less racist, are less tribal/endogamous, are more independent, have more liberal values, their societies and communities are more atomized, there are less taboos around sex and dating, and hook-up culture, feminism and individualism are much more stronger.
In southern Europe, men and women there are much more prude, traditional, endogamous, close-minded, ethnocentric, tribal, less independent, collectivist/ community-minded and conservative. Young people leave the nest/family house much more later than in western/ Nordic Europe. Social ties between people are also much stronger in Italy or Portugal than in Sweden or Germany. Italian women worry about their image and reputation because they are always surrounded by their family members and kin all the time, they cant afford to take risks with strangers/foreign men outside their tribe/ethnic group/social circle because they know they will face social judgment and be shamed for it, unlike their Swedish, Dutch, Irish, German and British counterparts. In Nordic and western Europe, people are either Protestant, atheist or catholic but the Nordic/Western European catholics are less devout and religious Catholics than their southern European counterparts.
