Bump j never punked Kanye, actually he helped him from getting punk ala beanie Sigel. He would protect Kanye from hood nikkas from the chi who wanted to get on/ extort and Kanye would give him beats. This is well known. Kanye shouts him out a moderate amount do time to show they have mutual respect for each other.
