Before the MCU, "Masters of the Universe" was the best adaptation of Jack Kirby's work

Jack Kirby gets a bit overrated i think because he wasn't around to get his flowers when comic book films took off.

He was a comic artist mostly. On wrote stuff later in his career and didn't really write much for marvel.
Stan Lee was the story guy.
Masters of teh universe was created by Roger Sweet. Kirby just help you visualize his creation

He deserves his flowers, but I don't see any other comic artists getting this much shine. They usually credit the creators/writers.

That's not true. Jack and Stan cocreated the foundation of what is the marvel universe. Jack was the artist with ideas ahead of his time and Stan was the translator that knew how break down Jacks concepts so more people could understand. Stan was more business savvy than Jack and tried to short change him. Jack left Marvel and took his talents to DC where he not only created his own franchise but expanded Supermans franchise. Jack was indeed a writer.

He didn't write much for marvel. and Dc was known for trash writing until they started hiring marvel writers.
Kirby's main contribution was as an artist.
He's starting to be treated like Pippen as the years go on, people try harder and harder to put him on the same level as MJ.
He Orchestrated the look of the comic book industry. But not many of his stories are considered iconic.
Stan Lee would actually go in and expand the back story for characters he invented to flesh them out more like he did with Silver Surfer.
Kirby created a silver man on a surf board. Stan created norrin Radd and man abducted by galactus to save his world from destruction and forced into his service.

Kirby came up with Galactus, Darkseid, Intergang, The Demon Etrigan, The Celestials, New Gods, Eternals, making Thor an ancient alien instead of an actual God. You say DC writing wasn't good until they hired Marvel writers and that was what Kirby was. Stan was good for throwing in current slang into some of the dialog but the overall Ancient Astronauts and psychedelic power cosmic concepts was Jack. Jack was such a good writer that when he returned to Marvel they wanted him to create something similar to what he created at DC. His Art style alone is iconic because he could do a splash page with no dialog and tell a story. And truth be told, Stan Lee's dialog ain't all that. I cringe every single time I hear or see Luke Cage say "Sweet Christmas".
