This election cycle has reminded me of this cult classic movie about a disillusioned politician who is detrmined to be as brutally honest as possible so he can be assasinated..It doesnt go as planned and he actually wins in a landslide and he ends up being so popular that he is convinced to run for president

anyway the point is this uncannily prescient satire seems to foretell Trump ..similar issues,plain speaking politically incorrect off the cuff remarks,the racial tensions

I know there are significant differences but its interesting still....i recommend watching it
