A former Algiers resident is mentally unfit to stand trial for allegedly shooting three black men after Hurricane Katrina, a federal magistrate ruled Wednesday. The federal trial of Roland J. Bourgeois Jr., 47, of Mississippi, was scheduled to begin next month following several delays.
Bourgeois will remain hospitalized for up to four months before he is re-evaluated. Bourgeois had been free on bond since his indictment last summer.

I really wanted to see this movie based on the trailer, but after reading about Eastwood's efforts to turn it into right-wing propaganda, and Kyle's own views on killing, I'll wait until it comes on Netlfix. There were way too many hillbilly looking types coming out of the theatre for this show on Friday.

The insane, murderous pathology Chris Kyle had in real life is exactly how cacs think...they glamorize war and weapons and killing, it's in their DNA and has been since they came out of the frozen North.
It's a little troubling to me when my black friends came out of that movie and told me how much they loved it, and were tearing up...it's like many of us can't connect the dots between movies glamorizing sociopath murderers and the state of poverty/insanity that we live in.
