Whats the best controller that I can buy I want to be able to scratch and sample also...my budget is unlimited although Id rather go as cheap as possible because im unsure if this is something I want to do. I basically want a new toy but be able to take it to another level if I end up loving it.... midrange I guess. also....what is it that makes one controller better than the other...thanks ahead

Since your budget is unlimited I'd recommend either of the following below, because they're midrange for price but they also unlock the full serato DJ Pro. :

OR

The main difference between controllers will be things like output connections, # of faders, pads, visual display, etc. Basically more knobs and shyt to twist. Almost all controllers these days control Serato DJ (the software) so when it comes to quality of effects or the basics of djing (mixing, scratching, use of effects, sampling) your experience will pretty much be the same across all controllers. I'm sure you have more questions but this is a quick intro for you
