I can flip the argument and say that Brett Favre's long and close relationship with his pops should have made it harder on him than Peterson's uncultivated relationship with his son, and Favre still played, to zero criticism, because he choked up during press conferences and balled out the next day.

People seem to be on some moral high horse regarding AP, as if he should be breaking down into fits over a child he did not know. How many men would be breaking down crying and despondent over losing a child they didn't have a relationship with? Be honest.

Should AP have handled the situation differently? That could definitely be argued. But I'm tired of us regular folks and the media holding athletes, particularly star athletes, to a moral standard that we don't expect from the general populace. It's disingenuous and speaks to how we valorize people who happen to be really good at something, and forget that yes, they too, are human beings.

It is what it is. The seeds have been planted. I can't monitor the nikka's dikk, nor do I care to. I'm just pointing out how dumb it is for the reporter to say what he would have done if it was his son, as if he and his son have the same relationship as AD and his.

I see my son every day. I sing a good morning song to him every morning and tuck him in every night, so I would feel some kinda way. But I can't judge AD by my relationship with my son. That's ridiculous.

Again, sad. If that were me, and i knew i had a child, even by a woman i dont like, or if it was a one night stand, im findin someway to meet up with them asap. That child didnt ask to be here, and it damn sure didnt ask to be beaten off the earth at the age of 2.
