There are only a few coli cats that are on the right, moral side of this story. Most of you idiots are only concerned about your fantasy league(s).

If AP decided to do the right thing and not play, you a$$holes would be like "stupid kid:wtb: Made his stepdaddy mad, and got killed, now AP cant play. Im fukked in my league:to:"

Regardless of the circumstances, a man just lost his son. This is not the time to be speaking of moral high grounds and this and that. The author of the articles and we in general need to get off our high horse. We don't know if AD tried to get his son away from that dude or not. Quite frankly, if there were any blame, I would blame the moms first.

My Pops Forever RIP
@tremonthustler1

So he's not a fair writer that judges people based on their behavior not ethnicity/race, right? What would you say if I told both of you that Mushnick has written problematic race baiting articles in the past targeted at black pathologies in the past, and relishes doing so whenever possible?

I'd tell you he does do that. How does that change what I've said? Fair has nothing to do with it. He goes after everyone. How he does it is what we can differentiate.

I can flip the argument and say that Brett Favre's long and close relationship with his pops should have made it harder on him than Peterson's uncultivated relationship with his son, and Favre still played, to zero criticism, because he choked up during press conferences and balled out the next day.

People seem to be on some moral high horse regarding AP, as if he should be breaking down into fits over a child he did not know. How many men would be breaking down crying and despondent over losing a child they didn't have a relationship with? Be honest.

Should AP have handled the situation differently? That could definitely be argued. But I'm tired of us regular folks and the media holding athletes, particularly star athletes, to a moral standard that we don't expect from the general populace. It's disingenuous and speaks to how we valorize people who happen to be really good at something, and forget that yes, they too, are human beings.

good points, i like your argument, can see both sides

not expecting the nikka to break down in the press conference but a human response would have been expected

Why are we blaming AP for:

1. Girl having consensual sex with AP.

2. Girl letting AP hit raw and bust inside of her.

3. Girl being pregnant and not telling AP.

4. Girl having baby and not telling AP.

5. Girl telling AP he has a baby after it's been alive for 1.5 years.

And I'm not defending AP. He shouldn't be fukking random chicks raw. And he should have made more an attempt to be in the child's life after finding out.

However, blaming AP for playing is ridiculous. How does him not playing show he "cared" and is "mourning?" This nikka coulda skipped the game, smoked some weed, ordered a couple pizzas with a bottle of Cherry Coke and had some exotic bytch named Esmerelda come over and suck him off while he plays 2K14, and showed how much he "cared"...'cause he skipped the game.

This whole "this is what people do when they CARE" :damn: shyt is nonsense.

My thing is, what is a human response?

My brother got murdered and I was at work the next day. Did I not care? Of course I did! I was socializing and laughing it up with people at a weeklong conference, and tearing up on the train when they weren't around. I dealt with things in my own way.

I broke up with my ex and was living it up, fukking girls left and right, and seemingly perfectly happy, then six months later broke down like a bytch one night, personifying some Drake lyrics, sad as fukk that I had lost her.

These are just a couple examples of how I deal with loss, which I am using to illustrate that you can't always judge what's happening on the inside based on what you see of a person on the outside.

I think we're judging AP without even coming close to knowing the full situation.

Let's be real: AP didnt give a damn about that child. He has millions and he is a star player who can do whatever he wants, yet he couldnt find time to go see this child once or even fly him out????? He didn't even stay half the day with his son while in critical condition. He was ready to go back to practice. He is unfazed about the situation because now he doesnt have to pay child support smh

Well Farve father was an old man who got to enjoy life. Peterson's son was a toddler who didn't receive the protection and safe environment that has brother Peterson Jr receives

not the same thing breh
