First of all, you didn't buy your house straight up. You took out a mortgage, selling your soul to a bank which also makes a living off of unearned income. And that's not even considering what you did to "earn" the money you bought the house with.

Second of all, how you buy the house doesn't matter for the question whether you worked for the rent you make another person pay. You didn't work for that rent and you don't provide anything of value in return. You're just extorting that person because they need a roof over their head and you don't want them to have one unless you gain more privilege in society first.

Third of all, look at how you're trying to play dumb about exploiting other people in society to enrich yourself. You've got no problem taking part in the exploitation but you cry bloody murder like a victim about being called out for it. That's that white people mentality and that, my breh, is what makes you a certified c00n©. They're proud of you.:salute:
You have no clue if a homeowner bought their home outright or took out a mortgage. And if you took on a mortgage then you didn’t “sell your soul’, you applied for a loan met the financial requirements based off the income you have earned and was approved for it. And they make a very scrutinizing distinction from income you earned vs money you have. It’s quite the studious process where they go over every transaction on your bank accounts and assets. So that’s not really a “first of all” statement to make.

You also don’t “make another person pay”. You are literally sought after, often aggressively for a person who WANTS to pay you. Owning a home clearly costs money, even when you have a mortgage. I own this land, this building, this structure. Some stranger contacts me and says even though he has ZERO financial or legal responsibility to this land, structure and building, they want it. The expenses, if I agree to your request, will be absorbed by you plus the inconvenience of obliging this request. You don’t know what the word extortion means or the nature of it either. Your “second of all’ is also a failure.

Your last statement is more of the same and further highlights your naivety and lack of comprehension of the English lexicon. You are a imbecile, I’m sorry to say. You’re not an idiot but not quite a moron either.

This video a few yrs old I believe.

But Yeah dawg, being a landlord is a BUSINESS. I got one property I self-manage and one with a property manager. I’ll take the property manager 10 out of 10 times, even tho they be on some BS sometimes.

Better to have that buffer and somebody to handle the “emotional” parts of being a landlord

sounds better than it is.

had a home and 3 multi family units. Got rid of em ALL.

the headaches and costs when shyt breaks down, plea coppin when they ain't got rent, general maintenance ain't worth it sometime.

the only plus side was the depreciation, but when you sell, it's time to pay the piper on that.

But like others said, REALLY vet who you rent to.

- stay away from family members/friends
- credit check
- employment check
- multiple months of deposit (At least 2x one month rent)

can't even rely on references since people will lie for someone.

I wonder if Commercial Real Estate is any better.

So basically everything should be for free? Houses should be free, cars should be free, and food should be free. Is that what you're saying?

Above the fray.
Just by the description and the screencap, I have an idea of what it is.

The previous tenant left on a bad note and/or the neighborhood has declined.
Property remained unoccupied longer than the landlord expected or planned for.
The mortgage, tax, utility, and insurance bills continued, though.
Landlord felt he had to let somebody in who otherwise wouldnt, rather than leave the property vacant.

MFers being who they, showed their ass soon enough. So now the landlord is in a deeper hole than the day they moved in.
