Now let's get it all in perspective...
Accept every potential social interaction as a preemptive loss, and do what is most fun in the moment. Sometimes that means putting the knife in somebodies tires, figuratively speaking. Being nice gets you nothing but a half-hearted "I'm sorry" after you have been victimized. And then they go back to treating other people better than you anyway. Part of proper social hierarchy is the ability to crush a spirit on a whim. Its a joyous thing when you get it right, even if in practice it can cost you in the long run.
Life experiences made me an a$$hole but I try my best to curtail it. With effort, I come across like OP. I don't always have the energy to do it though and im just an a$$hole. I try.
